This technique allows cables to be installed in monotubes by means of a stream of pressurized air that generates a<strong>&#8220;cushion<\/strong>&#8221; effect, causing the cable to practically <strong>float <\/strong>inside the tube and move forward with almost no friction. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u27a4 The fiber optic cable is <strong>lightweight <\/strong>and designed to be flexible enough to conform to pipe bends, but also rugged enough to withstand air pressure without damage.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u27a4 The <strong>tightness of<\/strong> the monotube is key: if there are leaks or the conduit is not well sealed, pressure is lost and the cable may brake or jam.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u27a4 With the right conditions, it is possible to install <strong>several kilometers <\/strong>of cable in a single operation, without the need for trenching or complex construction work.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why is blowing safer for the cable?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Optical fiber is delicate and does not support small bending radii.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By avoiding direct handling during laying, the risk of damage or breakage is reduced.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The &#8220;cushion&#8221; effect generated by the air minimizes contact with the pipe walls, protecting the cable during installation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fiber optic blowing combines precision and technology to ensure safer and more reliable installations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to an innovative technique called blowing, it is possible to install kilometers of cable without trenching or damage.
