R&D PROJECTS IN SMES
Project financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and the Junta de Castilla y León, through the Instituto para la Competitividad Empresarial de Castilla y León (ICE), with the aim of promoting research, technological development and innovation.
Research, implementation and prototype testing of the optimal geometrical configurationoptimal geometrical configuration for the measurement of the contact wire displacement at the passage of aof the pantograph of a railway vehicle.

Based on the ALTIUMCAT project, TELICE DYNTACT® is a new generation dynamic pantograph performance detector (DCDP). It uses state-of-the-art laser triangulation technology to continuously record the movement of the contact wire in two dimensions (elevation and transverse movement) as train pantographs pass. Together with a weather station, it allows to correlate local wind intensity and direction, as well as temperature, to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the behavior of the pantograph-catenary interface at any commercial speed used on the world’s rail networks. TELICE DYNTACT® (patent pending) promises to revolutionize the monitoring and maintenance of flexible railway catenary on all types of lines: high-speed, conventional or commuter lines thanks to its advantageous value proposition. The ALTIUMCAT project has been financed in part with funds from the Instituto de Competitividad Empresarial de la Junta de Castilla y León, with file number 04/18/LE/0025.
