TELICE tCat® is a complete portable workstation mounted on a track trolley capable of manual and automatic contact wire position measurements, gauge analysis, vegetation control and other tasks. Based on state-of-the-art LIDAR technology and supported by a sensor integration platform (accelerometers, track gauge, GPS), it can take frontal and azimuthal images of your work area and automatically generate complete inspection notebooks.
Occupying the niche between auscultator trains and laser scales, TELICE tCat® can, for example, perform the analysis of all the tracks of a station in a few hours and with a team of two operators with basic training, without the need to physically lay out the routes on the tracks, thanks to its low weight and simple re-railing.
The TELICE tCat® project was financed with funds from the European Commission’s SME Instrument Phase 2, Grant Agreement number 778608. It is currently a product used in Spain, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and other locations, and is protected by two patents.
